Meet Our Team

         Matt Poole is the current Superintendent of the Harvest Conference FMC and has served previously as Assistant Superintendent in the Pacific Northwest Conference FMC. In addition he has served in pastoral and denominational leadership for 30 years.  He was born and raised in Montgomery County, MD. He attended the University of Maryland (BS, Psychology) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity). In 2000 he was awarded a Beeson Scholarship to attend Asbury Theological Seminary and received his Doctorate in preaching and church leadership.

         Matt brings with him gifts for ministry in the areas of preaching, teaching, coaching, wisdom, and leadership. His passion is for lives to be changed through following Jesus Christ. He has led large and medium size churches in various communities. He planted a church in 2002 and currently coaches church planters. He has served as adjunct faculty at Asbury University and has taught at other seminaries.  He has previous experience on several boards in the areas of homelessness, church development, church planting, and leadership.

        Matt spends his free time with his family; wife Heather and their two daughters.
